YOU DO NOT NEED TO BE ACCEPTED TO THE UNIVERSITY IN ORDER TO AUDITION.
Applications to the Department must be received a minimum of 2 weeks prior to audition. You must pre-register to attend an in-person audition.
DVD applications (for out-of-state students) are due February 14, 2014.
Special arrangements can be made for in-person auditions during regular class periods. Please see the Ballet Audition Application Packet below.
When flying to Utah please book your return trip so that you do not need to be to the airport any earlier than 2:00 PM on the day of the audition.
Our next Salt Lake City audition for the 2014-15 year will be held on February 8, 2014.
Department of Ballet Audition Tour
Auditions the University of Utah Department of Ballet’s 2014-2015 academic year will be held in select cities across the US in conjunction with Ballet West’s Summer Intensive Auditions. Details can be found in here as a printable PDF. Please note the audition guidelines stated above for the Audition Tour beginning in January of 2014.
