Alumni Advisory Council Formed

Interim Chair Linda F. Smith has established an Alumni Advisory Council to assist her and the faculty to explore best practices and envision the brightest future for the department. Members include Distinguished Alumni Bart Cook (Caleco Ballet Studio), Douglas Sonntag (National Endowment for the Arts), and Jiang Qi (University of Cincinnati) and alumni in higher education Sandra Allen (BYU), Mark Borchelt (UVU) Tauna Hunter (Mercyhurst) and Marsha Knight (University of Wyoming).  The Alumni Advisory Council held its first meeting in January via conference call and has engaged in follow-up email discussion. Interim Chair Smith is grateful for the willingness of these outstanding alumni to consult with her and the faculty.
